DoveFM is a network of Christian radio stations and translators serving northwestern Pennsylvania and western New York.

DoveFM History

In the early 1980s, God gave a vision to a few men from River of Life Church (now CC Russell) to launch a Christian radio station in Russell, PA to serve Warren County and Chautauqua County, NY. They formed God's Station, Inc. and in December of 1984, WGSI, i-103 Radio began broadcasting at 103.1 on the FM dial. A series of unfortunate events occurred a few years later and we lost the station. Since then, we had prayed that God would once again open the door for this vital ministry.

The vision for a renewed radio ministry (DoveFM) began in July 2007 when the opportunity arose for the pastors and elders of Calvary Chapel of Russell, PA to apply for two non-commercial FM frequencies.

Our first radio station, WTWT (90.5) in Bradford, PA, went on the air in November 2011 followed almost a year later by our second station, WGIP (89.1) in Tidioute, PA. The years that followed included an opportunity to purchase WYVL (88.5), a small, 100-watt FM station in Youngsville, PA. Today, WYVL has grown to 2,500 watts which, along with our FM translator (98.7), allows us to serve the greater Warren and Jamestown area. We then partnered with our sister fellowship in the Buffalo, NY area (Calvary Chapel of the Niagara Frontier) to provide programming on WZDV (92.1). We stepped away from the Tidioute frequency to open the door for our newest station in Erie, PA (98.7).

Since our earliest days, the mission of DoveFM has remained the same: to see lives and hearts changed in our communities by sharing God’s love with our listeners. We seek to do this in the following ways:
